This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-LMO2 antibody (Catalogue #: P100952_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP31307
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 18kDa
Gene: 4005
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: LMO2 acts with TAL1/SCL to regulate red blood cell development. LMO2 also acts with LDB1 to maintain erythroid precursors in an immature state.LMO2 encodes a cysteine-rich, two LIM-domain protein that is required for yolk sac erythropoiesis. The LMO2 protein has a central and crucial role in hematopoietic development and is highly conserved. The LMO2 transcription start site is located approximately 25 kb downstream from the 11p13 T-cell translocation cluster (11p13 ttc), where a number T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia-specific translocations occur.
