This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-LMNB2 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP46357_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP46357
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 68kDa
Gene: 84823
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The nuclear lamina consists of a two-dimensional matrix of proteins located next to the inner nuclear membrane. The lamin family of proteins make up the matrix and are highly conserved in evolution. During mitosis, the lamina matrix is reversibly disassembled as the lamin proteins are phosphorylated. Lamin proteins are thought to be involved in nuclear stability, chromatin structure and gene expression. Vertebrate lamins consist of two types, A and B. LMNB2 is one of the two B type proteins, B2. This gene encodes one of the two B type proteins, B2. This gene is in a head-to-tail orientation with the gene for the translocase of inner mitochondrial membrane 13 homolog gene.
