This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-LDHD antibody (Catalogue #: ARP53181_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP53181
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 53kDa
Gene: 197257
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The exact functions of LDHD remain unknown. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the D-isomer specific 2-hydroxyacid dehydrogenase family. The similar protein in yeast has both D-lactate and D-glycerate dehydrogenase activities. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
Alternative names: MGC57726
