This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-KL antibody (Catalogue #: ARP41554_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP41554
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 116kDa
Gene: 9365
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: KL is a type-I membrane protein that is related to beta-glucosidases. Reduced production of this protein has been observed in patients with chronic renal failure (CRF), and this may be one of the factors underlying the degenerative processes (e.g., arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis, and skin atrophy) seen in CRF. Also, mutations within this protein have been associated with ageing and bone loss. This gene encodes a type-I membrane protein that is related to beta-glucosidases.
