This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-KIF22 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP33919_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP33919
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 73kDa
Gene: 3835
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: KIF22 a member of kinesin-like protein family. This family of proteins are microtubule-dependent molecular motors that transport organelles within cells and move chromosomes during cell division. The C-terminal half of this protein has been shown to bind DNA. Studies with the Xenopus homolog suggests its essential role in metaphase chromosome alignment and maintenance.
