This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-KCNQ1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP35529_T100) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP35529
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 60kDa
Gene: 3784
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: KCNQ1 encodes a protein for a voltage-gated potassium channel required for the repolarization phase of the cardiac action potential. The gene product can form heteromultimers with two other potassium channel proteins, KCNE1 and KCNE3. Mutations in KCNQ1 are associated with hereditary long QT syndrome, Romano-Ward syndrome, Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome and familial atrial fibrillation.
