This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-KCNK10 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP35399_T100) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP35399
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 59kDa
Gene: 54207
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: KCNK10 encodes one of the members of the superfamily of potassium channel proteins containing two pore-forming P domains. The message for this gene is highly expressed in the kidney and pancreas. This channel is an open rectifier which primarily passes outward current under physiological K+ concentrations. The protein is stimulated strongly by arachidonic acid and to a lesser degree by membrane stretching, intracellular acidification, and general anaesthetics. Three transcript variants have been identified for this gene.
