This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-JMJD6 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP39180_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Size: 100 ug
Weight: 46kDa
Gene: 23210
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: JMJD6 is a nuclear protein with a JmjC domain. JmjC domain-containing proteins are predicted to function as protein hydroxylases or histone demethylases. This protein was first identified as a putative phosphatidylserine receptor involved in phagocytosis of apoptotic cells; however, subsequent studies have indicated that it does not directly function in the clearance of apoptotic cells, and questioned whether it is a true phosphatidylserine receptor. This gene encodes a nuclear protein with a JmjC domain. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
