IP-10 / CXCL10 is a chemokine produced by a variety of cell types including monocytes, fibroblasts, endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells during the delayed hypersensitivity response. IP-10 functions as a chemoattractant towards monocytes, activated lymphocytes and certain T-cells and acts via the specific XCX chemokine receptor CXCR3. RANDOX recombinant IP-10 comprises a 77 amino acid fragment (22-98) corresponding to the mature IP-10 protein. IP-10 is expressed in E. coli with an aminoterminal hexahistidine tag.
