This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-IMPDH1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP54363_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP54363
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 62kDa
Gene: 3614
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: IMPDH1 acts as a homotetramer to regulate cell growth. It is an enzyme that catalyzes the synthesis of xanthine monophosphate (XMP) from inosine-5'-monophosphate (IMP). This is the rate-limiting step in the de novo synthesis of guanine nucleotides. Defects in this gene are a cause of retinitis pigmentosa type 10 (RP10).
