This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-IGF1R antibody (Catalogue #: AVARP00004_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP30448
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 71kDa
Gene: 3480
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: This receptor binds insulin-like growth factor with a high affinity. It has tyrosine kinase activity. The insulin-like growth factor I receptor plays a critical role in transformation events. Cleavage of the precursor generates alpha and beta subunits. It is highly overexpressed in most malignant tissues where it functions as an anti-apoptotic agent by enhancing cell survival. This receptor binds insulin-like growth factor with a high affinity.
