This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-HTR2B Antibody(ARP30716_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP30716
Size: 100ug
Weight: 54kDa
Gene: 3357
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Multiple receptor subtypes of serotonin neurotransmitters with multiple physiologic functions have been recognized. The 5-HT-2 receptors mediate many of the central and peripheral physiologic functions of serotonin. Cardiovascular effects include contraction of blood vessels and shape changes in platelets; central nervous system effects include neuronal sensitization to tactile stimuli and mediation of hallucinogenic effects of phenylisopropylamine hallucinogens.
Alternative names: 5-HT(2B); 5-HT2B
