This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-HAO2 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP41434_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP41434
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 39kDa
Gene: 51179
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: HAO2 is one of three related proteins that have 2-hydroxyacid oxidase activity yet differ in amino acid sequence, tissue expression and substrate preference. Subcellular location of the protein is the peroxisome. Specifically, the protein is expressed predominantly in liver and kidney and has the highest activity toward the substrate 2-hydroxypalmitate. Two alternatively spliced variants encoding the same isoform have been described. This gene is one of three related genes that have 2-hydroxyacid oxidase activity yet differ in encoded protein amino acid sequence, tissue expression and substrate preference.
