This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-GRIPAP1 Antibody(ARP57358_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP57358
Size: 100ug
Weight: 96kDa
Gene: 56850
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: This gene encodes a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for the Ras family of small G proteins (RasGEF). In brain studies, the encoded protein was found with the GRIP/AMPA receptor complex. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described that encode different protein isoforms; however, the full-length nature and biological validity of all of these variants have not been determined.
Alternative names: DKFZp434P0630; GRASP-1; KIAA1167; MGC126593; MGC126595
