This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-GPER Antibody (ARP62244_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP62244
Size: 100ug
Weight: 42kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: This gene is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family and encodes a multi-pass membrane protein that localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum. The protein binds estrogen, resulting in intracellular calcium mobilization and synthesis of phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate in the nucleus. This protein therefore plays a role in the rapid nongenomic signaling events widely observed following stimulation of cells and tissues with estrogen. Alternate transcriptional splice variants which encode the same protein have been characterized.
Alternative names: CEPR; CMKRL2; DRY12; FEG-1; GPCR-Br; GPR30; LERGU; LERGU2; LyGPR; MGC99678
