Reacts with beta-galactosidase of E. coli and Aspergillus oryzae. Cross-reactivity with beta-galactosidase from bovine liver is less than 10 %. Does not influence on enzyme activity. Can be used for detection of beta-galactosidase expressed by LacZ gene in cloned sequences.
