This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-Gabrp Antibody (ARP35229_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Mouse
Presku: AAP35229
Size: 100ug
Weight: 50kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: GABA, the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the vertebrate brain, mediates neuronal inhibition by binding to the GABA/benzodiazepine receptor and opening an integral chloride channel. In the uterus, the function of the receptor appears to be related to tissue contractility. The binding of this pI subunit with other GABA(A) receptor subunits alters the sensitivity of recombinant receptors to modulatory agents such as pregnanolone.
Alternative names: MGC38123
