This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-GABBR2 Antibody (ARP61115_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP61115
Size: 100ug
Weight: 106kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The multi-pass membrane protein encoded by this gene belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 3 family and GABA-B receptor subfamily. The GABA-B receptors inhibit neuronal activity through G protein-coupled second-messenger systems, which regulate the release of neurotransmitters, and the activity of ion channels and adenylyl cyclase. This receptor subunit forms an active heterodimeric complex with GABA-B receptor subunit 1, neither of which is effective on its own. Allelic variants of this gene have been associated with nicotine dependence.
Alternative names: FLJ36928; GABABR2; GPR51; GPRC3B; HG20; HRIHFB2099
