This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-FAM19A4 Antibody(ARP44515_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP44515
Size: 100ug
Weight: 16kDa
Gene: 151647
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: This gene is a member of the TAFA family which is composed of five highly homologous genes that encode small secreted proteins. These proteins contain conserved cysteine residues at fixed positions, and are distantly related to MIP-1alpha, a member of the CC-chemokine family. The TAFA proteins are predominantly expressed in specific regions of the brain, and are postulated to function as brain-specific chemokines or neurokines, that act as regulators of immune and nervous cells. Transcript variants with different 5' UTRs, but encoding the same protein, have been found for this gene.
Alternative names: FLJ25161; TAFA-4; TAFA4
