Eotaxin / CCL11 is a member of the beta (C-C) motif chemokine family of inflammatory and immunoregulatory cytokines. Eotaxin is a potent and selective chemoattractant for eosinophils, but not monocytes, lymphocytes or neutrophils and is primarily produced by epithelial and phagocytic cells. RANDOX recombinant Eotaxin comprises a 74 amino acid fragment (24-87) corresponding to the mature Eotaxin protein and is expressed in E. coli with an aminoterminal hexahistidine tag.
