This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-EIF4A2 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP40376_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP40376
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 45kDa
Gene: 1974
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: EIF4A2 contains 1 helicase C-terminal domain and 1 helicase ATP-binding domain. It belongs to the DEAD box helicase family. eIF4A subfamily. In the current model of translation initiation, eIF4A unwinds RNA secondary structures in the 5' untranslated region of mRNAs which is necessary to allow efficient binding of the small ribosomal subunit, and subsequent scanning for the initiator codon.
