This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-CYP4V2 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP55993_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP55993
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 61kDa
Gene: 285440
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: CYP4V2 may have a role in fatty acid and steroid metabolism. This gene encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 hemethiolate protein superfamily which are involved in oxidizing various substrates in the metabolic pathway. It is implicated in the metabolism of fatty acid precursors into n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. Mutations in this gene result in Bietti crystalline corneoretinal dystrophy. Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the publications that are available for this gene. Please see the Entrez Gene record to access additional publications.
Alternative names: BCD; CYP4AH1; MGC43534
