This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-CPB1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP33862_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP33862
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 35kDa
Gene: 1360
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The specific function of the protein remains unknown.Three different procarboxypeptidases A and two different procarboxypeptidases B have been isolated. The B1 and B2 forms differ from each other mainly in isoelectric point. Carboxypeptidase B1 is a highly tissue-specific protein and is a useful serum marker for acute pancreatitis and dysfunction of pancreatic transplants. It is not elevated in pancreatic carcinoma.
