This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-COL8A2 Antibody (ARP60023_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP60023
Size: 100ug

Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: COL8A2 is the alpha 2 chain of type VIII collagen. The protein is a major component of the basement membrane of the corneal endothelium and forms homo- or heterotrimers with alpha 1 (VIII) type collagens. Defects in this COL8A2 gene are associated with Fuchs endothelial corneal dystrophy and posterior polymorphous corneal dystrophy type 2
