This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-CHMP2A Antibody (ARP62111_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP62111
Size: 100ug
Weight: 24kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: CHMP2A belongs to the chromatin-modifying protein/charged multivesicular body protein (CHMP) family. These proteins are components of ESCRT-III (endosomal sorting complex required for transport III), a complex involved in degradation of surface receptor proteins and formation of endocytic multivesicular bodies (MVBs). Some CHMPs have both nuclear and cytoplasmic/vesicular distributions, and one such CHMP, CHMP1A (MIM 164010), is required for both MVB formation and regulation of cell cycle progression.
Alternative names: BC-2; BC2; CHMP2; VPS2; VPS2A
