This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-CDC42EP4 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP54839_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP54839
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 38kDa
Gene: 23580
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: CDC42EP4 is a member of the CDC42-binding protein family. Members of this family interact with Rho family GTPases and regulate the organization of the actin cytoskeleton. The protein has been shown to bind both CDC42 and TC10 GTPases in a GTP-dependent manner. When overexpressed in fibroblasts, the protein was able to induce pseudopodia formation, which suggested a role in inducing actin filament assembly and cell shape control. The product of this gene is a member of the CDC42-binding protein family.
