This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-CBX2 Antibody(ARP58370_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP58370
Size: 100ug
Weight: 56kDa
Gene: 84733
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: CBX2 Contains 1 A.T hook DNA-binding domain and 1 chromo domain. CBX2 is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1 complex, a complex required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes, including Hox genes, throughout development. PcG PRC1 complex acts via chromatin remodeling and modification of histones; it mediates monoubiquitination of histone H2A 'Lys-119', rendering chromatin heritably changed in its expressibility.
