This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-BRF2 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP50630_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: BRF2 is the general activator of RNA polymerase III transcription. BRF2 is the factor exclusively required for RNA polymerase III transcription of genes with promoter elements upstream of the initiation sites. This gene encodes one of the multiple subunits of the RNA polymerase III transcription factor complex required for transcription of genes with promoter elements upstream of the initiation site. The product of this gene, a TFIIB-like factor, is directly recruited to the TATA-box of polymerase III small nuclear RNA gene promoters through its interaction with the TATA-binding protein.
Alternative names: BRFU; FLJ11052; TFIIIB50
