This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-Blmh Antibody (ARP56105_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human, Mouse
Presku: AAP56105
Size: 100ug
Weight: 50kDa
Gene: 104184
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The encoded protein is a cytoplasmic cysteine peptidase involved in inactivation of bleomycin, a glycopeptide which is a component of combination chemotherapy regimens for cancer. This encoded enzyme is highly conserved, and it contains the signature active site residues of cysteine protease papain superfamily enzymes. It is postulated that this enzyme has protective effects against bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis and bleomycin tumor resistance.
