IL-1 refers to two proteins, IL-1alpha and IL-1beta which are the products of distinct genes, but which are recognized by the same cell surface receptors. IL-1alpha is a potent immuno-modulator which mediates a wide range of immune and inflammatory responses. Recombinant human IL-1alpha is an 18.0 kD protein containing 159 amino acids.
Catalogue number: 515703
Reactivities: Human
Hosts: Mouse
Conjugates: Biotin
Size: 4 plates
Clone: BH0110
Gene: 3552
Dilutions: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by ELISA assay. For ELISA detection, dilute 60 microl of the biotinylated anti-human IL-1alpha in 12 ml of assay diluent for each plate. To obtain a linear standard curve, serial dilutions of human IL-1alpha protein ranging from 500 to 4 pg/ml are recommended for each ELISA plate. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Storage buffer: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4C. Do not freeze.
Antigen: Recombinant human IL-1alpha
