Biotin anti-human IL-1alpha

IL-1 refers to two proteins, IL-1alpha and IL-1beta which are the products of distinct genes, but which are recognized by the same cell surface receptors. IL-1alpha is a potent immuno-modulator which mediates a wide range of immune and inflammatory responses. Recombinant human IL-1alpha is an 18.0 kD protein containing 159 amino acids.

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by ELISA assay. For ELISA detection, dilute 60 microl of the biotinylated anti-human IL-1alpha in 12 ml of assay diluent for each plate. To obtain a linear standard curve, serial dilutions of human IL-1alpha protein ranging from 500 to 4 pg/ml are recommended for each ELISA plate. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
