This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-ARG1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP45671_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP45671
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 35kDa
Gene: 383
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Arginase catalyzes the hydrolysis of arginine to ornithine and urea. At least two isoforms of mammalian arginase exist (types I and II) which differ in their tissue distribution, subcellular localization, immunologic crossreactivity and physiologic function. The type I isoform is a cytosolic enzyme and expressed predominantly in the liver as a component of the urea cycle. Inherited deficiency of this enzyme results in argininemia, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by hyperammonemia.Arginase catalyzes the hydrolysis of arginine to ornithine and urea.
