This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-ARFGAP1 Antibody(ARP57150_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP57150
Size: 100ug
Weight: 45kDa
Gene: 55738
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The protein encoded by this gene is a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) which associates with the Golgi apparatus and which interacts with ADP-ribosylation factor 1 (ARF1). The encoded protein promotes hydrolysis of ARF1-bound GTP and is required for the dissociation of coat proteins from Golgi-derived membranes and vesicles. Dissociation of the coat proteins is required for the fusion of these vesicles with target compartments. The activity of this protein is stimulated by phosphoinosides and inhibited by phosphatidylcholine. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Alternative names: ARF1GAP; HRIHFB2281; MGC39924
