This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-APTX antibody (Catalogue #: ARP32885_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP32885
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 35kDa
Gene: 54840
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: APTX is a member of the histidine triad (HIT) superfamily, some of which have nucleotide-binding and diadenosine polyphosphate hydrolase activities. The protein may play a role in single-stranded DNA repair. Mutations in this gene have been associated with ataxia-ocular apraxia. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene, however, the full length nature of some variants has not been determined.
