This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-APOBEC4 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP55976_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP55976
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 41kDa
Gene: 403314
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: APOBEC4 is a putative C to U editing enzyme whose physiological substrate is not yet known. This gene encodes a member of the AID/APOBEC family of polynucleotide (deoxy)cytidine deaminases, which convert cytidine to uridine. Other AID/APOBEC family members are involved in mRNA editing, somatic hypermutation and recombination of immunoglobulin genes, and innate immunity to retroviral infection.
Alternative names: C1orf169; MGC26594
