The adenomatous polyposis coli protein (APC) is a tumor suppressor that promotes rapid degradation of catenin-beta 1 (CTNNB1) and participates in Wnt signaling. The GSK3-beta protein kinase regulates its activity by phosphorylation. APC binds to PDZ domains of DLG1 and 3, to catenins, a, Xenopus/Amphibian,in and MAPRE protein family including the EB members. This antibody recognizes an epitope in the C-terminal half of the mouse APC in ELISA, Western blot and immunofluorescent staining.
