Product Introduction: AP1S2 belongs to the adaptin protein family and functions as the small subunit of AP-1 complex 1 which is found in the cytoplasmic face of coated vesicles placed at the Golgi complex. AP-1 complex 1 facilitates both the necessity of clathrin to the membrane and the identification of organizing signals within the cytosolic tails of transmembrane receptors.
