PluriBead is a unique and robust non-magnetic separation technology for cells, proteins, and other targets from nearly all biological fluids. The procedure is simple: You sieve your pluriBeads bound to target cells through a strainer - the pluriBeads with your target cells stay on top, the unwanted cells pass through the strainer. Then gentle detachment of your cells with a buffer is all you do, the target cells are ready to use! PluriBeads are coated with an antibody against a specific target marker. Use the pluriBeads for positive selection or negative depletion of a cell population.Bead Size: MVolume: 2 mlTarget Marker: CD31, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, is a 130-140 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein. The cell surface receptors can be found on the surface of monocytes, platelets, granulocytes, endothelial cells and lymphocyte subsets. The CD31 antigen is involved in the elimination of aged neutrophils from the body. The marker plays a key role in wound healing, angiogenesis, and cellular migration in an inflammatory situation.Species: MouseTarget Cells: Endothelial cells, PlateletsSample Type: PBMC, blood, buffy coat, primary cell solution (also review definitions below)Starting Material: 200 ul blood or 10^5 cells per isolationCapacity: 50 ul for maximum of 2.5 x10^6 target cellsOutput Viability: Greater than 95 percentOutput Purity: Greater than 96 percent_____________Definitions/Applications/Components:S-pluriBeads: 30 um diameter 10^7 maximum target cells per separation 400 ul maximum bead suspension per strainer Sample material – whole blood, tissue, PBMC, cell culture Minimum sample volume is 200 ul Recommended Applications for small number of target cells in a large sample volume and for Circulating Tumor Cells (CTC)M-pluriBeads: 60 um diameter 5 x 10^7 maximum target cells per separation 1000 ul maximum bead suspension per strainer Sample material – whole blood, tissue, PBMC, cell culture, and buffy coat Minimum sample volume is 500 ul Recommended Applications for large number of target cells in sample
