Anti-IL-9 (OASD00010)

Anti-IL-9 (OASD00010)

Interleukin 9 (IL-9) is cytokine produced by a subgroup of helper T cells, known as Th2 cells. IL-9 signals through its receptor, IL-9R, to induce cell prolife ion and survival. Genetically, IL-9 has been identified as a gene associated with asthma. IL-9 is a 127 amino acid Protein, having a molecular mass of 14 kDa.Rabbit Anti-IL-9 recognizes native and recombinant forms of IL-9 in tissue culture supernatant and other body fluids. A control of similar fluids known to contain no IL-9 should be used as a control.
