PluriBead is a unique and robust non-magnetic separation technology for cells, proteins, and other targets from nearly all biological fluids. The procedure is simple: You sieve your pluriBeads bound to target cells through a strainer - the pluriBeads with your target cells stay on top, the unwanted cells pass through the strainer. Then gentle detachment of your cells with a buffer is all you do, the target cells are ready to use! PluriBeads are coated with an antibody against a specific target marker. Use the pluriBeads for positive selection or negative depletion of a cell population.Bead Size: SVolume: 2 mlTarget Marker: CD11a, a member of the integrin family, is a 170-180 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein. As a cellular adhesion molecule it plays a central role in leukocyte cell-cell interactions and lymphocyte costimulation. The marker is present on all leukocytes. CD11a and CDF18 form the lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1.
