This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-Aldh4a1 Antibody (ARP45695_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Rat
Presku: AAP45695
Size: 100ug
Weight: 62kDa
Gene: 641316
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Irreversible conversion of delta-1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate (P5C), derived either from proline or ornithine, to glutamate. This is a necessary step in the pathway interconnecting the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. The preferred substrate is glutamic gamma-semialdehyde, other substrates include succinic, glutaric and adipic semialdehydes.
Alternative names: Aldh4a1
