This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-AKR1E2 Antibody (ARP62958_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP62958
Size: 100ug
Weight: 36kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: AKR1E2 catalyzes the NADPH-dependent reduction of 1,5-anhydro-D-fructose (AF) to 1,5-anhydro-D-glucitol. It can also catalyze the reduction of various aldehydes and quinones. AKR1E2 has low NADPH-dependent reductase activity towards 9,10-phenanthrenequinone (in vitro).
Alternative names: AKR1CL2; AKRDC1; LoopADR; MGC10612
