This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-AKAP8 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP32755_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP32755
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 76kDa
Gene: 10270
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The A-kinase anchor proteins (AKAPs) are a group of structurally diverse proteins, which have the common function of binding to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase A (PKA) and confining the holoenzyme to discrete locations within the cell. AKAP8 is a member of the AKAP family. It is located in the nucleus during interphase and is distinctly redistributed during mitosis. This protein has a cell cycle-dependent interaction with the RII subunit of PKA.The A-kinase anchor proteins (AKAPs) are a group of structurally diverse proteins, which have the common function of binding to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase A (PKA) and confining the holoenzyme to discrete locations within the cell. This gene encodes a member of the AKAP family. The encoded protein is located in the nucleus during interphase and is distinctly redistributed during mitosis. This protein has a cell cycle-dependent interaction with the RII subunit of PKA. Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the publications that are available for this gene.
