This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-ADH4 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP43572_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP43572
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 40kDa
Gene: 127
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: ADH4, class II alcohol dehydrogenase 4 pi subunit, which is a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family. Members of this enzyme family metabolize a wide variety of substrates, including ethanol, retinol, other aliphatic alcohols, hydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products. Class II alcohol dehydrogenase is a homodimer composed of 2 pi subunits. It exhibits a high activity for oxidation of long-chain aliphatic alcohols and aromatic alcohols and is less sensitive to pyrazole. This gene encodes class II alcohol dehydrogenase 4 pi subunit, which is a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family. This gene is localized to chromosome 4 in the cluster of alcohol dehydrogenase genes. Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the publications that are available for this gene.
