This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-ACSBG2 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP53793_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP53793
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 68kDa
Gene: 81616
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: ACSBG2 belongs to the ATP-dependent AMP-binding enzyme family, bubblegum subfamily.ACSBG2 mediates activation of long-chain fatty acids for both synthesis of cellular lipids, and degradation via beta-oxidation. It is able to activate long-chain fatty acids. Also able to activate very long-chain fatty acids; however, the relevance of such activity is unclear in vivo. ACSBG2 has increased ability to activate oleic and linoleic acid. It may play a role in spermatogenesis.
