This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-ACAD9 Antibody (ARP60788_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP60788
Size: 100ug
Weight: 68kDa
Gene: 28976
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: This gene encodes a member of the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family. Members of this family of proteins localize to the mitochondria and catalyze the rate-limiting step in the beta-oxidation of fatty acyl-CoA. The encoded protein is specifically active toward palmitoyl-CoA and long-chain unsaturated substrates. Mutations in this gene cause acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family member type 9 deficiency.
Alternative names: ACAD-9; FLJ23533; MGC14452; NPD002
