The Human Factor IXab was activated from homogeneous Human Factor IX by activation with Bovine Factor XIa. This Bovine Factor XIa is removed after activation. Complete activation isobserved on SDS-PAGE. The IXab was then inactivated using a commercially availablechloromethylketone. This inactivator is removed via dialysis.The human plasma used was tested and found negative by FDA accepted methods for AntiHIV1/2, Anti-HTLV I & II, HBsAg, Anti-HCV, Syphilis, HBC Ab, HIV-1 p24 Ag or HIV-1 RNA,HCV RNA and HBV RNA
